Well, I’ve had nothing but hard pressure salesman trying to sell me a website build and SEO word local for $6,000.00 for 6 months; including the website for $3,000.00. We shifted to Hostgator last month. Before that, our site was hosted on with an Indian host called SquareBrothers. Our site suffered like hell during that period. The server breaks down every minute. Sadly, there is a bit of a "gotcha" to the free automatic backup service. If you're paying $3.95 a month (for the first year of hosting, then $9.95 a month), you don't get restores for free. Each restore, no matter how small or large, will cost you $19.95. I'm not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand, the company has to pay salaries to tech support reps who can handle panicking customers. On the other hand, it seems kind of mean-spirited to hit someone when they're down with an added fee. That said, getting your data back – at any price – is priceless.

I used this platform for several months. I personally believe that it is disqualified by the number of available functions. Beginners may have trouble finding themselves. The second issue is the 36-month plan. And if someone needs a hosing just for a year? Then he has to pay more. I personally use GetLark. Very simple client panel, cheap hosting packages (only $5 for one month, the more months the cheaper). Additionally, the hosting is free of charge for 3 months.

Because Amazon‘s free web hosting tier doesn’t offer many of the features some of the other web hosts mentioned here do, it may serve us better to look at the pricing surrounding their paid services. ite because of their internal decision to end VPS hosting. There was absolutely no forewarning, no email, no advance anything. My site was just closed, all content is restricted, its been a full week now with no solution on their part. My paid contract runs another 6 months. They are offline in their chat and take an average of 3-4 days to respond to our emails. I understand that they have decided to terminate my VPS set-up. That is their prerogative. But to fail to contact the client, restrict the site, and then not answer emails is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable in the realm of web hosting. Please please please learn from my experience and take your hosting elsewhere. At this point we have our fingers crossed just to restore our content before migrating to another hosting platform.
My internet needs are simple. I host various domains with fairly simple websites. I do not use WordPress/Templates. I use a free version of Serif that lets me build a simple site with more flexibility. This works fine with Bluehost it just took a little effort to figure out how to publish with a slightly different file path. My sites and email work just fine.
